Greetings, and welcome
to Sinfully Decadent Designs. This is our monthly newsletter where
we share the important news and happenings concerning the home for
all of your design needs. Stay informed on what is new with the
SDD family, along with special offers that can only be gained
herein.
Birthday Bash Auction was a great success!
Brina and precious celebrated another year of becoming more beautiful, and they hosted a party for all of our members to celebrate with them! Many beautiful avs were given away during the auction, along with those valued Event Coupon! The admins of SDD hope all that attended have a great time, as we had one hosting the event. We look forward to seeing you at our next auction.
SDD has a few new games that our members would be interested in. Below is a description of each game, and what can be earned in participation.
Scrap It
Every 2 weeks you will be provided scrap bits that must be incorporated into an av. We will provide a selection and the game mod will post the minimum of how many scrap bits must be included in your av creation. You provide the model and create an avatar no larger than 500 x 400 including the required number of scrap bits along with your model. The rest of the creation is totally up to the designer, you may use what ever additional textures, backgrounds, brushes, plugs ins etc that you wish or not. The scrap bits will be posted as .png files to preserve their transparent background. You can alter the size, color etc of these scrap bits but we need to be able to see them in your av creation. The game will run for 2 weeks. Please post all entries to the board thread.
Polls will run for one week.
Points:
1st Place - 50 points
2nd Place - 25 points
3rd Place - 15 points
Participation - 10 points
1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners will all go to weekly forums - all other entries are the property of the designer and may be gifted, or sold in our Sinful Steals section.
Move Or Morph
Quick, easy, simple word game! A word will be posted, and all you have to do, is either: rearrange the letters to make a new word,remove a letter to make a new word or add a letter to make a new word.
Example : able - table - cable - lace
No adding an 's' to make a plural of a word. No back to back posting - someone else must post a word in between your posts.
1 point awarded per post up to a max of 25 points per game.
Games will run for one week, with a new game being started on a Friday. Have fun and happy morphing!
Referral Bonus
We at SDD would encourage all of the members to get their friends and significant others to join them here. So to help achieve an atmosphere of friendliness we are rewarding any member who refers anyone who becomes a new member to SDD with a Deadly Sin. The new members will have to include your name in their "Hello, my name is.." post so that you get what you deserve. So gather up all those you know, get them to join you here, and reap the rewards!

So if you are up to it, or know a designer who is, please apply today! There are plenty of members looking for that next masterpiece, and they anxiously await your arrival.
Wanting to Learn to Design?
SDD has a full staff of very talented designers eager to teach their craft to those wishing to learn. "The Art of Sinning" is where a potential student can apply, and a teacher is soon assigned. They will take you from the basics, through some tougher techniques, and up to your final exam. The bell is about to ring, and class will soon be starting, so hurry and sign up before you get detention!.
Need Some Extra Buying Power?
The best way to earn the coveted DS is through participation in the many games here at SDD. For everyone there are many non-designer games that run both daily and weekly. These are the fastest way to earn points, to be used to buy Deadly Sins or avs at "Sinful Steals". Designers can also earn points by participating in our design games that run bi-weekly. Every game has a participation prize, along with greater awards for placing in polled contests. Be sure to head to our "Gluttonous Games" and "Graphical Greed" sections and get in the game!
